28 WEEKS AND....

What I miss about not being pregnant...
Laying on my stomach.
Sleeping in any position I want.
Wearing all my "normal" clothes.
Crunches and many other excercises!!!
Tanning.
Drinking as much caffeine as I want.
Not having three chins.
Not getting up to pee 5 times during the night.
What I miss about not being pregnant...and might not go away now....
Not getting heartburn from Chocolate and anything Tomato based.
Sneezing, walking, or laughing without having to worry about peeing my pants.
What I will probably miss about being pregnant......
Little Kicks to my ribs or pelvic bone that stop me in my tracks.
Being woke up at 4 am to a wiggling baby in my belly instead of a screaming one.
Hearing her heartbeat.
Tyson never telling me "No" :)
Tyson talking to her and lighting up everytime he see's me because he knows I am carrying his little girl........

Sneek Peek of the Nursery....Still just waiting on a throw pillow and curtains. Pictures of the finished product very soon!

Entering the Dreadid Third Trimester

Pregnancy Report: It is so crazy to think that I am already 2/3 of the way done being pregnant. It has gone so fast yet February still can feel so far away. She is growing at a rapid speed now and makes my belly ache just like Jr High growing pains. Overall I am still feeling really good, able to workout and still sleeping like a rock most of the time. It is true that your energy makes an appearance in the 2nd trimester but quickly starts to go away again entering the third. 9 o'clock just does not come soon enough the last few days and I have had a rough week emotionally kind of like a crazy person but that is normal right? Luckily crazy pregnant lady only lasted a couple of days for mine and Tyson's sake. :) She moves around all of the time now and me and Tyson can not get enough of it. She is quite a distraction when I am at work or trying to watch TV because I just get so caught up in watching and feeling her move all around. It is so amazing to think about what is actually in there. Each day I start to wonder more & more what she will look like, will she have my eyes or Tyson's dark thick hair? We really just can not wait to meet her and find out!
Exciting news to report: We got her crib, dresser and bedding! Everything is just perfect and I can not wait to get it all set up! I will post a pic soon as it is done.
I am also so ecstatic to have my first baby shower on Saturday thrown by Aunt Charie, Aubree and Grandma. I am sure baby Kevin (Shantai's baby boy) and baby Suzy are going to get very spoiled.
I also feel quite comfortable sharing what is most likely to be her real name (since we have not discussed any others in months)..... Sawyer Zade Anderson. Cute huh!
And of course I must leave with some pictures to show how much she has grown in the last month!

Boy oh' Boy, the wait is over!

First of all we are very happy to report that our child will not be needing early childhood therapy quite yet....She is all GIRL!! Our appt was last Friday and we were both extremely anxious and excited all week to find out the news. The ultrasound tech spent about 20 minutes with us just checking Suzy's size and everything was perfect. I was 19 weeks and 1 day yet her head and belly measured at about 18 weeks 3 days. Not enough difference to change the due date so her expected arrival date is still February 25th. After about 25 minutes the tech still had not given us the news we really were waiting for and I was starting to panic that Suzy wanted her gender left a mystery. She said she was tucked up in the tightest little ball very very low in my belly. We learned that they do this when it is cold. (which I thought was very interesting since I felt my pants get noticeably tighter just as the temperature dropped last week!) Luckily the tech said the doctor usually has tricks to get the babies to spread their legs. Thank goodness he came right in and was able to see the empty space between her legs and very non-chalantly said "I would say it is a girl". Soon as I heard these very sweet words I was screaming inside with excitement, smiling ear from ear and trying to hold back my tears. I looked over at Ty and he was also grinning and holding back a tear, making a moment I can not wait to share with my baby girl one day. We had my monthly appt right after and all we wanted to do was call and tell everyone the news. I hurried and snuck in a call to my sister just so I would not explode and she was just as excited and emotional as us. Right after my appt we headed to Old Navy and bought the cutest outfit ever just to celebrate. I can not even express how excited we both are to start our family with a little girl. - Bring on the bows and way to much shopping!!

So far the second tri-mester has been as good as everyone says. I have a little harder time getting comfortable at night and my pants were starting to irritate Suzy's growing room. However, we fixed both problems this weekend by Tyson surprising me with a Boppy body pillow and finally breaking down and buying some maternity pants. Hopefully things stay as good for Suzy and me for the months to come! Here is a couple pics of the baby bump and Suzy's first outfit. Today marks halfway....Yeah!

"Embrace the Belly"

My title says it all. Pregnancy is something I do not know if anyone can say they get used to. Overall I am still so grateful that the toilet has not been my best friend and so far haven't had to many complaints. However, the growing human inside of me thing is still a little hard for me to fully except. We had another doctor appt on Friday and everything is still right on track, this time the baby did cooperate enough to hear the heartbeat. Which was really neat. Still having all kind of cravings which Tyson has been kind enough to assist me in getting at anytime! Had a couple days of swollen gums and many headaches but the rest of my post is what keeps my spirits up no matter how I am feeling even if it is the hundredth time I had to use the bathroom that day.

Conversations that prove why Tyson will be the best Daddy ever.

I say "My pants are so uncomfortable and people keep looking at me like wow she is gaining weight!" Ty Replys: "Tiff... just embrace the Belly!"

Ty asks: "Do you think a baby has ever grown so fast that they get to come out early?" I say: "Sure, I think that is why some babies choose to come before their due dates." Which follows with Tyson whispering: "Grow baby grow I want you to get here!

Next day I text Ty: "I think baby had a huge growth spurt over night, my belly is sore."
He writes back: "Its because of the pep talk I gave her last night."
After I try on three pairs of pants that I swear fit me just last week and I am whining. Ty says: "No way your belly isn't big at all! It needs to get out to here." (Now picture him holding his arms about 2 feet from his body.)

Every phone call at lunch time starts with: "Hows your day going, what's Suzy doing?"
Every night I get home: "How was your day, what's Suzy doing?"

As Tyson is singing at the top of his lungs...."Do you think she can hear me yet?"

Every night when I am laying on the couch after my work out and exhausted!

Ty asks: "Why do you think the baby thinks it is necessary to take all of your energy?"

Saturday afternoon as we are running errands Ty says: "See won't this be fun running around with the baby."

Last and most importantly we have our big ultrasound on October 2nd, so only 3 more weeks! I can not wait and I hope that if Suzy is a boy she will forgive us for calling her a girl for the first 5 months of her life :)

ALL IS WELL!

We had our 12 week appt today and I am happy to report that everything went great! The Doctors intentions were to just hear the heartbeat however, baby had a different plan in mind. She did not want to hold still long enough to catch the sound with the doppler, so doc did an ultrasound. Baby was wiggling around so much you could barely get a glimpse. It was so neat and really makes it feel real now and I know Tyson loved every second of it! So far it seems baby is going to be stubborn like me and energetic like her daddy.

Overall, how I have been feeling has not changed to much but I have had my first sterotypical craving which I think is hilarious. PICKLES! Yep I ate entire bottle (small) in two days, if you even say the word I want one. It cracks me up because I try to sneak them so Tyson doesn't think I am a complete crazy but he seems to catch me everytime I am in the fridge devouring one or two. :)
And as I said in my last post .... the first pictures of baby Anderson to be. The first pic on the left is from 8 weeks when I think it was mainly bloat. Second on the right is from today (almost 12 weeks). Some of my pants are definitely getting tight so I know baby is growing like a weed. Thank you all for you kinds words and sharing your excitement, it really means a lot.
Til next time....

*Try to ignore the glowing white skin.

Biggest Announcement yet.....

Well this might not be that exciting since almost everyone already knows but....I am PREGNANT! About 11 weeks along and it still hasn't hit me yet. We found out on Father's Day and have had a hard time deciding when is the "right" time to tell people. We told our family's the day I found out just because being Father's Day seemed like such a perfect day to tell our parents. Then slowly over the last 7 weeks we have a told a few people here and there. However I feel comfortable letting the world know now.

Tyson could not be more excited and already is being such a daddy, checking on me and the baby everyday! He is so cute and is going to have a very hard time waiting the next 6 months! I have only had one appointment so far and everything went fine. We get to hear the heartbeat on Monday and I can not hardly wait!! Hearing her might actually make it feel real.

Yes we call the fetus a "she" and "her" name for the time being is Suzy. I have a hard time with calling her "it" and Tyson has always had these funny names for our future children so Suzanna or Suzy for short has stuck. Now everyone cross your fingers it is a girl :)

Overall I have been grateful for feeling pretty good at least not puking but still have my rough days or as they can be hours. Exhaustion, headaches, MAJOR bloat and brief periods of nausea have been my not so fun symptoms. Oh and did I mention being tired? Who knew that growing a human could be so so so exhausting. I would sleep 12 hours a day if I could and some weekends have.

My main source of feeling normal is working out and I sure hope the second trimester brings some energy with it to make the GETTING on the treadmill part.... not quite so hard. I am sure I have a ton more to say but I do not want to bore you all with a 3 page first pregancy blog. So I will update you all after our appointment on Monday and maybe post a pic of my already popping baby bump.
Baby Anderson probably looks something like this...
