1st Birthday, Easter, Vacation and such.

I know I have been really bad at posting, but between working, vacations a teething toddler and life in general I have felt a little overwhelmed. However, we have had a lot of fun in the last few months so I couldn't except not sharing at least some of it. I will start with Sawyer's birthday party (I know it was 3 months ago). I did an Owl theme and spent days making treats and decorations. Soooo not like me I know! but it turned out really cute. Cannot believe my little baby is one already!






She got spoiled of course!

We were so grateful to all of our close friends and family that shared her special day.

She also got her 1 year pictures taken. Here's just a couple because I could never choose my favorites, I love them all!





I swear once Sawyer turned one it was full throttle in to toddler hood. She started getting into more trouble, gabbing, and becoming much more independent. She is by far the biggest joy that has ever been in my life!

On Easter we hid some eggs in the backyard and she thought it was the funnest thing ever! We hid them over and over again. Of course the treats in the eggs helped keeping her motivated :)




And last. For Christmas and our 6 year Anniversary I booked a trip to Cancun which we just got back from on Tuesday. We had a blast but it sure was different experience going on vacation knowing our little girl was hundreds of miles away from us! We missed her soooo much.
