Life as always has been busy as ever! We have had a jammed packed 6 months of swimming, camping, BBQ's and so far Halloween.
First, we can start with Sawyer and how grown up she is!! She is closer to being 2 already than I would like to admit. She is still the girl of many faces and makes us laugh on a daily basis.
She is talking a lot more but has her very favorite words, which are cute the first 100 time you hear them. To name a few of her absolute favorite - "Pease" (Please), MOMMY!!!, "Oh Man", "Quay" (K). Literally you hear these ones about 100 times each a day. She is still all girl full of attitude, emotional and stubborn as can be but I wouldn't change her for a minute. She also loves hats and shoes and is already wanting to pick out which of these items she wears together. I usually fight her during the week and Sundays let her pick what she wants to wear. Example here:
She loves hanging outside with her daddy, taking care of her baby doll and pushing her in its stroller. Kind of sucks it is getting cold because my girl loves to go on walks and to the park, winter is going to be a little rough...
About 2 months ago she started going to an in house daycare one day a week and she transitioned so well and loves getting to play with the other kids.
She still is a little piglet like her daddy and eats everything in sight. Her favorite is popcorn and any fruit. She loves her cartoons and has to watch at least one movie a day. Her favorites are Tangled, Princess and the Frog, Toy Story. Rio and Shrek. However, she will really watch any cartoon that has some kind of music or singing involved.
Now just a few of her Divaness and evidence of how big she is getting!!
Also a huge change in our life is the expecting of baby #2! We found out in June after only one month of trying. We are going to be welcoming a litle boy on or around February 8th. Sawyer could not be more excited to be a big sister and is going to be a great little helper ...I hope.
My pregnancy has been about the same as Sawyers except.... I am a lot hungrier and a lot more tired. I am sure chasing a toddler around doesn't help either of these factors but I still am very grateful for how well my body handles pregnancy. Now if you asked Tyson he would say I have been way more emotional this time but I also think that is due to the second time just being a little more overwhelming. Just a couple belly shots so far.
