A fly, some dancing and Beware where you Park!

As many of you know Tyson has been working in Flaming Gorge and then will be hunting until Monday. So I have been home alone. But...last night I went with a few of my friends to "So you think you can Dance" Tour. The show was awesome I think dancers as talented as all of them are from another planet. Some of the things they can get their bodies to do especially the boys amazes me.

But the show is probably what I will remember least after the events of the evening....
We met up at Ruby Tuesdays before the show and the service was awful and slow, but as usual we have fun anyways.
Until I hear Shantai whisper "There is a fly in my potatoes" I the optimistic one of course went straight to thinking it probably was just a chive or something, but NO! I looked.... a real full sized dead fly right in the middle of her mashed potatoes. Tai did not take to this very well and wanted the food away from her sight at once. A free meal was given but Ruby Tuesdays will never sound good again...

So we finished our meal went to the amazing show and then as I was driving home I get a call from Camille. "Where are you?" I said on the freeway, why? Oh my car got towed....she continues to tell me.. "Seriously, I said". (See Tina and I had parked at the restaurant and were minutes away from moving our cars to the Hotel parking lot that Camille had parked earlier in the evening.) So my initial thought was "Oh thank goodness we did not move our cars" But I felt horrible that Camille had to pay to get hers out of impound. Overall a night of many interesting situations but to me will be memories I will not soon be forgetting!

So Lessons Learned DO NOT Eat or Park at the Hotels or Restaurants by the E-Center !!!!!!

Busy Saturday

I am feeling in a very bloggy mood, so just stop reading if I get too boring. This Saturday Ty and I had a very eventful day, we started the day out with heading to the Dew Tour downtown. We went last year and it was really fun, this year not so much! It was hot and there was WAY to many people! I think they oversold tickets by about 2,000. Tyson is usually less annoyed by crowds and heat so he enjoyed himself more so than me, but he does seem to light up when he watches sports he loves....and that I do like to see. While we were in line for the first event I did get a scary call from my Dad, informing me that Tanya (my little sis) wrecked on her four wheeler the night before and was quite banged up. Which in the Blymiller family is a normal occurence, but still always terrifying the same. So we finished up the two events at the Tour (Freestyle Motorcross, and BMX Park) and headed home. By the time we got home I was really tired and not so happy to relize the very unattracive sunburn lines we had gained over the day but yet it was only 4 o'clock. Anyhow, at this point I was ansy as ever to go check on my sister. Ty was heading up to Park City to hang out with Charie and Coby and I was going out with Jenna, Camille and Candice for a girls night. So we parted ways and I made it to my sisters to find her worse looking than I expected.

She was at Russell's cabin with a couple of friends just casually riding some trails and attempted to go up a small but too steap of a hill. Her friend Heather was on the back so the extra weight pulled the 4 wheeler on top of her. She tried to protect her face with her hand, which as you can see is all that was hurt. Half her face and her left hand. She did not break any bones but did break blood vessels in her hand and eye and swelled up obviously! It was a horrible accident but we are all so grateful that even though she looks bad her injurys were not worse!

Now, the next pics are not for the faint of Heart!!!

Her hand reminds me of a blown up vinyl glove it was huge and looks so painful!

This first pic of her face was Saturday when I first saw her and second was Sunday. She already looks a little better as far as swelling but her eye was almost completely blood red on the left side.I wish her the best for a speedy recovery,

I can not handle to many days at work without her!

After I visited with Tanya and Russell for a while I headed to meet up with my friends at the District for dinner and a movie. So it was a day filled with many emotions but ended up on a good note with a fun few hours with some of my best ladies. This pic is us at Red Robin with "Red".

*See the attractive tan lines I mentioned

Ty also enjoyed himself in Park City they went on the Alpine Slide and new Coaster as well as swam at the condos. I wish I could have been at all 3 places at once!

Vegas Part 2

The Vegas Airport had these cool statues of reptiles, and since we had like 3 hours to spend in the airport (because of Tai and Coby's paranoia that we would be late), gave us a lot of time to play around.
What studs.....

On our last day we went to the top of the Statosphere, which reminded me that me being so scared of heights..Did Not make for the best idea! They all laughed at me because I had to stand at least 2 feet away from the glass at all times. So I believe this is Coby's impression of me.....

This is Dylan, Tina, Tyson and I on the shuttle going to the other end of the strip. It was like 104 degrees out so.... after about 15-20 minutes of walking we decided the nice air conditioned bus looked a lot better for just 2 dollars!

Just some beautiful scenery. Tai and I in the limo on the way to the wedding. One of the only pictures of just me and Tai in all of our years. I love it!
Stratosphere again we had a nice English lady take the picture.

These will just have to do for the time being and hopefully I will have more shortly. Tanya posing on the strip.

Bachelorette Party at the Rio's Voo-Doo Lounge, this was from the outside patio on the 52 floor! It was very high up and very windy, but sooo Neat.
Dinner at Lucky's Diner in the Stratosphere, after the wedding.

Little Sister's Big Day

On August 25th my Little Sister got married. She did everything very un-traditional which for her is how she does most things, but I would not expect anything else. So this is a pic of Tai, Me, Tina and Alecia before we headed out to the ceremony. I am so happy these girls were able to come out to celebrate with me! They were married at the "Valley of Fire" which is about an hour out side of Las Vegas. It was a very beautiful place.

Giving the Bride and Groom loves right after they said "I Do".

Tanya was a gorgeous Bride!!

All the ladies....

Mr and Mrs. Ottley

We were able to ride to the location in limo's, it was way fun. Squished but fun! I am so glad to see my Sister so happy and able to do exactly what she wanted to for her Wedding. Russell was a very handsome groom and seemed ecstatic to be married to Tanya, which just melted my heart. I wish them the best of luck!
